Thank you for choosing Thames & Kosmos and for your interest in our Incredible Inflatable Aero Dancer kit.
We are sorry to hear your Aero Dancer isn't working as expected. Let’s try some troubleshooting.
Step 1: Remove the fabric tube and the outlet nozzle ring. Take a look at the red fabric tube to ensure that there are no tears in the seams that may be reducing airflow. Set these two components to one side.
Step 2: Open up the impeller case. Now that the impeller is exposed, make sure that the impeller is pressed firmly onto the motor shaft. You should not be able to see the motor underneath (see image below). If not pressed into place, it may limit the airflow from being directed up the valve.
Step 3: Make sure the valve slider is correctly inserted into the slot (as shown in the image below and step 5 of the manual).
After checking on the details above, follow steps 10 through 12 to finish assembling your Aero Dancer.
Once assembly is complete, slide the valve all the way to the left for maximum airflow.
Now you can turn on the motor. Your Aero Dancer will either begin to dance (standing straight up and then folding over) or it will stand straight up and remain in that position. If he stands straight up and then doesn't collapse, gently move the valve to the right to reduce the airflow until it begins to dance (see attached video).
The effect of airflow on your Aero Dancer is explained in further detail on the last page of the manual.
