Helicopter Will Not Rise! Help Needed!

Hello Thames and Kosmos Representative,

Firstly, thank you for your many wonderful products such as your globe and the generators and motors kit.  Unfortunately, we have not had as successful of an experience with our Rubber Band Racers kit as with previous kits.  We have assembled all 5 options for the kit and were very disappointed by the performance of the helicopter.  We tried several different attempts, each with special attention to the instructions.  We attempted to release the helicopter from the ground and also from holding in front of us at waist level - each time, the helicopter only descended and did to rise to an appreciable height.  Another issue we had with the kit is that all the other activities except for the airplane had an issue where the racers gradually veered to the right and did not translate straight forward.

We purchased a second kit, wondering if perhaps the propeller or another component in our kit was defective.  These issues occur with both kits.  Also, we had two different adults separately assemble the kits to see if there had been any undetected human error issue in assembly and the issues occurred all times regardless of the adult assisting with special attention instructions.  I should add that both my husband and I have Bachelor's Degrees in Engineering.

Please provide suggestions for how to troubleshoot these issues or inform us if this product has been flagged as having had this issue without resolution by your team.
