** DO NOT try to connect via Bluetooth in your device's settings. You MUST connect the Bluetooth directly inside the RSM app itself. **

Once you download the app, before opening it, you will want to enable Location Services, by following these steps:

1. From your home screen, enter your Settings menu.
2. Tap on “Location services” or “Location access” – whichever your phone shows.
3. From this screen, you can toggle on or off any of the location services your phone offers. (Please make sure if you are able to set the "Mode" or Location services to be "High Accuracy")

Now, exit your settings and go into the Robotics app. In the upper-left, you will see a Bluetooth symbol. Make sure your Bluetooth battery box is activated (shake it to wake it up, it blinks blue when ready) and then tap the Bluetooth icon.

At this point, you may be prompted to allow the app to access the device location. Select the "Allow while using the app" or "Allow once" option. If you decline, you will not be able to connect to your robot.

If the BT icon is solid, it means that you are connected successfully. If it is blinking, it means it is searching for your robot’s signal.  As long as the motors are connected properly and the Bluetooth connects successfully, the motor will drive for a second.

If you're still having trouble connecting, it may be that your device is incompatible with the app's current requirements. You may want to try a newer device.

If all of this troubleshooting is unsuccessful, please send an email with your full mailing address to [e-mail].  Make sure to include a screenshot of your error message, along with information about what kind of device and the Android or iOS version it is using. This will help us to broaden the app's availability.
