Thank you for choosing Thames & Kosmos and for your interest in our Geckobot kit.
I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your motor. Let’s try some troubleshooting.
When the Geckobot is initially assembled, you may notice that the motor can be a little tight and not rotating. Often times, if you place an axle into the center of the orange circle of the motor box and manually turn it, it will loosen any tightness and your motor will begin moving and slowly pick up speed until it is running normally.
I hope that resolved the issue. If not, we kindly ask you to send an email to support@thamesandkosmos.com with the following information:
- Your mailing address and phone number
- Date of purchase (or when you received it as a gift) and the retailer it was purchased from
- The production code from your box (an alphanumeric code located in the white square with the UPC bar code)
- Some additional details on how your motor box is behaving
If you have any additional questions about this or any of our other kits, please do not hesitate in including them in your email to us.
Thank you again for contacting Thames & Kosmos Consumer Care. We hope that you and your family will continue to enjoy our products for many years to come.
Kind regards,
The Thames & Kosmos Technical Support Team
